This kitchenware brand is created by Asakura Furniture, a long-established furniture manufacturer rooted in Kamo City, Niigata Prefecture. Using a traditional woodworking technique called "hiki-mage" (bending by shaving) cultivated through making Paulownia chests, they carefully craft items like tongs bent from a single piece of wood, using carefully selected materials such as Japanese beech. These daily necessities, which combine ease of use with artisanal skill, bring warmth and functionality to the everyday kitchen.
