Mandy Maria has lived in Glasgow for the past 20 years, but her upbringing in the northeast of Scotland remains deeply rooted within her and is a constant source of inspiration for her artistic practice. For several years, she worked in the design industry, but in her own words, returning to painting allowed her to express her soul for the first time. While Mandy Maria's background in the design industry has influenced her work over the years, she has recently felt drawn to a more analog creative process.
